English Bible Camp
June 19-30, 2024 - Tatabánya, Hungary
Summary
Our partner in Hungary (Balázs Emhő – lead Pastor of Tatabányai Baptista) is seeking native English speakers to work alongside local church members during their English Bible Camp.
You don’t need to be a trained teacher, but you must be:
- Age 18+, (or 16+ with a parent/guardian)
- Native English Speaker
- Committed Christian
Camp Involves:
English lessons that focus on speaking/listening skills and include games and songs to engage learners of all levels
Bible lessons that clearly present the Good News of Jesus
Play activities that develop trust relationships
Logistics
The trip is 12 days
The total cost is ~$2400 ($775 + air travel). This cost includes lodging and all but 5 meals
NHBC will sponsor 25% of this cost for any church member (more if this is your first foreign mission trip)
- You must have a passport
- You must attend at least 2 Gospel Conversation trainings
- You must attend at least 1 training on the Bible Camp curriculum
Special Challenges: Jet lag (7 hour time difference). The city is safe. All the food and water is safe (within normal USA precautions)
